She and the garden will be providing all the ingredients.

Plus at the garden itself, we will be sharing Ideas about growing your own food to improve what you eat. From little trays of brilliant nutrient-rich herbs on a windowsill to selecting a diverse range of food to grow in a garden.

There will be activities and ‘stations’ with things to keep everyone busy (though children have to supervised by you). Plenty of time to ask questions, look around, share ideas and if you are interested discuss joining our community garden. Event Two: Great Big Green Week Event

A relaxed morning to come and have a look around the Community Garden, meet volunteers, discuss approaches to biodiversity (wildflowers and wild areas, soil health, and pollinators). Also, chat about the role that gardens (from large to window ledges) and gardeners can play in supporting the climate emergency agenda. Take a close up look at our water management approaches and our attempts to tackle our carbon footprint, from growing your own food, making your own compost and recycling and reusing whatever you can. This is a low key look-see-and-chat morning, with plenty of time for asking questions, sharing ideas and by all means getting involved. If you want a more activity rich morning, check out some of our other events, which have lots of small workshops etc.
