Event 4 2024: Ferments and Bokashi Composting

‘No Waste’ theme at the ‘No Dig’ Garden

Learn more about fermenting veg with the brilliant Katy. Ferments are a fantastic way to preserve produce and avoid waste. Chance to share ideas about the links between soil health and gut health too. We are so delighted to have the multi talented Katy from Wasted Kitchen running the ferments workshop.

We will also have the wonderful Amy from Heart&SoilCommunity, talking all things compost with a focus on Bokashi composting. Her gentle approach and wealth of knowledge makes this one NOT to miss … it’s THE approach to managing all of your kitchen food waste and making compost.

Once waste is viewed as a resource … there is no such thing as ‘waste’.

In addition, there will be a chance to discuss:
Planning for winter crops and and for next year
Harvesting and Seed saving
‘No Dig’, Climate Adaption
Bees and Honey and Biodiversity
