Digital Weather Station

The Digital Weather Station was purchased in December 2022 with support from Swale Borough Council’s biodiversity and climate emergency officer and generous funding from MySociety. The idea is to use climate tech to help better understand weather/climate change at the local scale, and in turn encourage adaption to change within our community and beyond.

We are developing aspects of this further with temperature and soil moisture probes linking to data on rainwater storage and usage. So whilst, this project is 90% achieved there are still some ongoing elements.
